S/s Bitos

It was apparently owned by Otto Hillerströms rederi, Helsingborg around 1920. I am writing an article on a letter sent to my grandfather working on the ship in 1923 and it would be nice to know a bit more about the ship. Do you know anything that you would like to share with me?

Morning at work

Since I started taking a bus at 7 o'clock, I have had many quiet mornings at work. It's pretty nice, actually. I'm making a cup of tea and nobody is talking, calling, moving around.

Early fall, adjusting

Mertensia maritima

I was happy when the semester started, because then I would have no time to think and ponder. But I am already feeling the urge to relax, make a halt, to reflect over this fall and the situation I find myself in. I like being busy with teaching and writing and everyday academic work. I like feeling useful. But, I must remember to give myself time to "do nothing" once in a while. I must remember to sum up and to allow myself to be proud and enjoy the accomplishments!
